Jay has amassed over 37 years of engineering experience in the private sector, having worked on a wide range of projects in both Alberta and Ontario. 
As a Senior Environmental Engineer, Jay oversees the design of all Ontario Building Code and Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change regulated sewage treatment and disposal systems designed by Skelton Brumwell & Associates. 

In addition to his work related to sewage treatment and disposal systems, Jay is also responsible for the preparation of Level 1 & 2 Hydrological Investigation Reports, and preparing Site Plans for certification under the Aggregate Resources Act. Jay has a very wide range of experience on urban design projects, including sewer and watermain replacement. 

Jay is a qualified expert witness with extensive experience before the Ontario Municipal Board, as well as other tribunals and legal proceedings.
