Heather joined Skelton Brumwell & Associates in 2017 after moving to Cookstown, where she has enjoyed working in her role as Financial Administrator.  Graduating from York University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Heather has spent most of her career primarily in accounting positions with small businesses both as an employee and an entrepreneur. Over the years, she has developed a penchant for the needs and requirements of small businesses.  This interest has helped her to develop a small business working with other small businesses.

​In her spare time, Heather volunteers as a Board of Directors member with

the Central York Girls Hockey Association in Aurora as Treasurer and enjoys other volunteer roles as well. Heather loves to travel with her husband during her holidays; however, the thing she loves best is to spend time with friends, family and her adorable grandsons!
