Kristen L. Sullivan | BSc
Coming from the rural Township in southern Ontario, Kristen has always been very passionate and connected to the natural environment which led her to pursue a career focused on environmental science.
Kristen has completed an Honours Bachelors of Science in Ecological Restoration which is a joint program with Trent University and Fleming College. There she attended several field placements related to her area of study that included: a restoration ecology field camp in the Haliburton Highlands and an international field camp in Barbados.
She has most recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Applied Environmental Planning at Fleming College that focuses on land use, environmental planning, and integrated resource management as it pertains to population growth, urban and rural development and threats to our natural heritage systems.
She has experience in the public sector focusing on waste management and most recently as a policy and programs assistant where she examined official plans and supporting documents to produce a jurisdictional scan of biodiversity strategies in municipalities across Ontario.
