Anne Guiot is the doyen of Ontario-based aggregate resources planning. With over 37 years of experience, Anne has been fundamental in ensuring the rigorous management of Ontario's aggregate resources.
Working as a consultant for the private sector, industry association and government, Anne has completed a wide range of assignments including: project coordination for pits and quarries involving Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law amendments and ARA licence applications; Official Plan reviews; peer reviews for pit and quarry applications; rehabilitation design and cost-modelling analysis; compliance assessment reporting (CAR); and, Site Plan design.
Anne has been intensely involved with the Ontario Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (OSSGA), and spent 4 years on their Board of Directors (2014-16). She has been actively involved with the Rehabilitation and Land Use Committee since 1990 and directly involved with writing guides for Policy and Rehabilitation as well as establishing and running training workshops.
She participates on other topic-specific committees such as The Blueprint for Change, review of the Provincial Plans, review of updates to the Provincial Policy Statement and MOECC’s Excess Soil Policy Framework.
Anne has been considered an expert and has presented numerous projects to the Ontario Municipal Board. She has been published in magazines on issued related to aggregate resources and given many presentations to a wide variety of professional and interest groups.
