Renewable Energy Approval Services

Renewable energy is gaining tremendous strength in the energy sector as we gradually move away from non-renewable fossil fuels towards a new greener tomorrow.

In response to this growing industry, the government of Ontario developed the “Green Energy Act” (2009) to expand renewable energy generation in Ontario, and provide province wide standards for renewable energy projects.

Renewable energy projects can include wind power, solar power, bioenergy and Hydroelectricity. They range from personal use (i.e. roof top solar panels) to large solar and wind farms, and hydroelectric dams.

The requirements and standards for approval to develop these projects are constantly evolving. It is important to ensure that applications are complete, accurate and contain the most up to date information available.

Skelton, Brumwell & Associates Inc. can assist you with applications for approval of renewable energy projects. We are a multi-disciplinary team of planners, engineers and ecologists with relevant experience in central, eastern and southern Ontario.
