Skelton Brumwell & Associates planning services for private and public sector clients includes the preparation of Secondary Plans, Plans of Subdivision, planning justification reports, Official Plan Amendments, Zoning-By-law Amendments and Site Plans. We have experience in review of development applications including reports to Council, and administering the Site Plan Approval and Committee of Adjustment processes for municipalities.
We have completed due-diligence studies related to multi-property aggregate resource purchases, and opportunity and constraints analysis for development properties. These studies identify the relevant planning policy and zoning provisions, compatibility issues, environmental constraints, and servicing facilities related to the property and client development objectives. Our team provides a full range of services related to planning and development approvals for projects including residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions, institutions, ski resorts, recreational ventures and pits and quarries. We have an excellent record in delivering the approvals necessary to make these projects successful.
We coordinate work related to approvals by Conservation Authorities, the Niagara Escarpment Commission, and provincial Ministries. When required, we have provided expert testimony at the Ontario Municipal Board. We provide engineering and ecological services in house.
