Skelton Brumwell & Associates offers specialized services for water resource analysis in rural and urban environments for the aggregate industry, private development and municipal clients. Our project experience throughout Southern Ontario has lead to a familiarization with hydrological matters associated with watershed studies, interference assessment of water resource features, mobile-bed fluviology, stream classification, thermal impact assessment, drought flow (7Q20) determination, estimation of threshold flow for protection of aquatic habita, assessing maximum water taking rates, water balance and sustainability, hydrometric and climate monitoring, hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flourescent dye tracing and stormwater management quality and quantity control.

In addition we facilitate Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA) for Surface Water Category 2 and 3 Permits to Take Water (PTTW) and Industrial Sewage Works (Discharge Permits), undertake designs for river re-alignment and restorations, channel and shoreline erosion controls, pipeline water crossings, drainage and flood management channels, hydraulic jump stilling basins, and vertical drop structures, industrial wash ponds and stormwater ponds, and implement automated climate station equipment and data logger installations.
